Classical Music and Dinner

I did say before that I enjoyed Klavier Gavin’s music…. Well, I’ve actually heard it so often now that it’s driving me nuts. Whatever happened to good old classical music? Mozart, Beethoven anyone?

Anna is enjoying herself. She’s not that shy around people anymore and Kirth has been showing her some of the Gavinner’s old stuff when they were still a band and Klavier Gavin has been adding in his own commentary so the three of them are usually talking all the time together now.

Justice stays in the room all by himself all the time doing God-knows-what. I remember him mentioning that he writes in a journal as well? I suppose he couldn’t be bothered to type it online; he doesn’t like having his thoughts known. (Though I think that if he actually started, it’d do him some good.)

I have my headphones on right now listening to Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata. It’s a beautiful song. It reminds me of a mystery story I read once about a pianist and his son.

We’re having dinner at the Creases tonight; it’s a restaurant/bar place so I’m sure we’ll all have fun.

Despite being the youngest, Anna doesn’t mind at all though I think she does miss Wright’s daughter a bit. They had their first email correspondent yesterday. Miles laughed at Wright’s daughter’s attempts in explaining with pictures. Miles and I tried to translate Anna’s email reply but there are some very interesting sentences whose meaning gets lost when translated. (That’s why I find reading novels in their original source much more rewarding.)

And speaking of novels, I’m reading Im Westen nichts Neues (All Quiet on the Western Front) right now. It’s been on my favourite books lists since forever… and yet I’ve never exactly read it. I saw the movie though!

I gave Lolita to Serai to read… how are you liking it so far? It’s well written, though I find the main character a bit disturbing.

Leaving for dinner at the Creases!
