I only have a small moment to write right now. Miles took Anna out for lunch and they still haven’t come back yet but they may do so any moment now. Before anyone finds that very strange, I must say that because Sophia and her husband are so wealthy, they managed to find a homeschooling teacher for Anna who is very flexible with time. While she is staying with us, her teacher is having a vacation.
As soon as they return, we shall be visiting the Deutsches Museum. It is one of the largest science museums anywhere, and Miles thought it would do Anna some good to visit. Apparently Sophia and her husband never thought to bring her there. I used to love it there when the school would bring the three of us there. There are many exhibitions that required button pushing to make the display move which really involves the children.
I’m really looking forward to going; the museum has vast grounds and it will be a great excuse to ‘get lost’ by myself and leave Miles and Anna together. I especially enjoy the aeronautics section of the museum.
In case you ever visit, you may find this interesting: http://www.deutsches-museum.de/index.php?id=1&L=0 (The site in German because I’m too lazy to translate.)
Because parking is so restricted, I’m afraid I must set off without them; the rapid-transit tends to be early and if I want to go through the war plane’s section thoroughly I’ll have to leave now.
