With Justice

Staying with Justice can be bland at times, but he's managed to extend and redecorate his apartment and so it's not half as bad as last year. Anna is actually enjoying herself emensely; she tires too hard to hide the fact, and today I saw her laughing with Wright's daughter over something. Wright and his daughter are always coming over to visit us (well, mostly Miles). I don't find it that horrible anymore. Their visitations can be quite... entertaining.

There's been a nerve twitching in my left arm this entire day. According to Miles, this means we're in for a spell of good luck so we went to the nearby casino to play black jack. Wright also showed his "poker skills" and beat Miles ten games in a row. I won $700 so I suppose this twitch really is good luck.

Not to worry, we left Wright's daughter and Anna at the movies and they had a movie watching marathon together. They seem to get along pretty well, despite language barriers. When we returned to pick them up from the theater, Anna told Miles excitedly that Wright's daughter acted out all the English words she didn't know throughout the show. And since Anna's English is very rudimentary... well, you all know the rest.

Short little entry today. We leave for the Gavin manor tomorrow. I'm looking forward to loosing Anna in the maze Klavier calls a house.

  1. Perhaps it really is good luck. But personally, I dislike casinos.

  2. Oh? It's actually a lot of fun... however, with three prosecutors all there, it was kind of hard to concentrate on ourselves when everyone around you is basically a criminal. Gambling = cheaters, you know.

  3. Of course. I know a fun game we should play when you guys come over. Mahjong! Alyiene got a set of these for her birthday last year. We could gamble with chips... or food.

  4. Mahjong? You'll have to teach me how to play. Miles has kept trying to teach me, but he doesn't really kow how to teach too well.

Gambling for food... well I suppose it isn't too criminal.

  5. Foods are tasty. Especially Alyiene's mini pumpkin cookies. I'll get Kirth to teach you. He's really good at it. I suppose it's because Adelaide taught him all the tips.
